This and That

We just got back from our hospital tour with our lovely friend Julie who works at Medical City.  She showed us where we'll go, where visitors will go, where the baby will hang, etc.  It was so great to get that out of the way and know that we won't have to be yelling at each other on the way to hospital trying to figure out where to go.  (We NEVER yell at each other btw...) Ha!

Patrick and I went to the doctor yesterday and she gathered that I am almost 2 cm dilated and his head is still really low.  It's amazing that she can touch the baby!! (sorry if that is TMI) She proceeded to talk to Patrick about scuba diving during the examination which I was glad about to keep him distracted.  However, it was difficult for me to think about breathing deeply during the exam when they were talking about breathing under water!  All that to say, even though we are not delivering in the snazziest of labor and deliveries, we LOVE our doctor.  She's great!

  3. Glad the tour gave you a boost. PC can give us clear directions where to park & what door to go through, now--- You don't think we'll be anxious after hoofing it for 5 hrs, do you? :)

  6. Andee...Don't you worry because it'll be the easiest directions ever. I have a feeling that Jimmy hoofing it will equal the distance being significantly lower than five hours. Just a hunch...
