I Love This Man

Patrick got me all worked up and excited one evening when he announced that he bought us some ice cream! We usually don't keep sweets in the house (I have no self control pregnant or not) so I was pumped.  The baby needs calcium RIGHT?! Patrick was excited because it was on sale for ONE BUCKAROO.

And this is why....
Bless him.
I let him have the ice cream.  It was just too pitiful to share.

I walked into Patrick's office and saw this.  I could barely hold the camera straight as I was giggling so hysterically.  Who knew that guys could have "whale tale?"  Well ladies, they can.  It's called Keeping-My-Boxers-Since-High-School-Syndrome.  Needless to say, boxers immediately made Patrick's Christmas list.

P.S. Patrick stayed up late into the night figuring out what song to play on my belly for the first time.  To him this is a milestone and I LOVE.IT.

  1. This is hysterical! The boxer thing is something A & P definitely share! Although A has almost an entire drawer filled with boxers, he loves to wear the ones that are more holes than fabric.

The best thing about this post? In the top pic, Patrick's shirt says Whale Boat... as foreshadowing of things to come...

  2. I KNOW! Patrick seriously has over 20 boxers and his favorite go to "lucky drawwwwws" are the ones that I could blow away in the wind like a dandelion. Silly boys.

I didn't even notice the Whale Boat shirt! hahaha

So anxious to see y'all in a couple of days. It's been too long!

  3. Ha! Patrick's frugality shows in both pics, doesn't it? He & Alex used to give me grief about buying them boxers whenever I was in Gap or anywhere, actually. I would try to throw away the loose, holey ones, & they'd protest mightily. Cannot believe they STILL have some from that long ago. I believe a bonfire at the lake is in order...... :)

  4. Here, Here! Andee

Joerin, he is trying to decide between California Girls by the Beach Boys or a Bob Marley song "so he'll have reggae running deep within him" ~Patrick
